Sustainability has become a strategic pillar for companies that aspire to responsible growth and operations aligned with global challenges. In this context, we have been taking decisive steps for more than four years, having earned certification as a Sustainable Supplier after successfully completing the United Nations Global Compact Training Program. This international recognition reaffirms our track record and commitment to an ethical, transparent business model that is dedicated to society and the environment.
A global program that drives business transformation
The Global Compact Supplier Training Program is designed for companies that wish to integrate the Global Compact’s Ten Principles and the Sustainable Development Goals into their management practices. Over the course of several months, participating companies receive specialized training in human rights, labor standards, environmental management, anti-corruption, and sustainable internationalization strategies.
Successfully completing this program is not just a matter of recognition; it involves demonstrating that the company operates consistently throughout its entire value chain. We have integrated environmental, social, and governance criteria into our production processes, supplier selection, and customer relationships. This entails a constant review of materials, traceability, working conditions, and business ethics.
This commitment is also reflected in the ongoing search for environmentally responsible fabrics, more efficient processes, and solutions that add value to the hospitality industry—areas in which Vayoil Textil is a leader. “The company views sustainability as a cross-cutting principle that drives innovation, competitiveness, and the trust of those who work with the brand,” said María Quero, Quality Manager at the Valencia-based company.
This year, we have once again renewed our certification as a Sustainable Supplier, marking another step forward on the path of continuous improvement that defines us. We will continue working to strengthen our sustainability policies, incorporate new responsible technologies, and make a positive impact on our economic, social, and environmental surroundings.
