The commercial director of Vayoil Textil, Ramón García, participated as an expert in a course given by the Provincial Association of Hotel and Tourism Businessmen of Castellón held at the Gran Hotel Peñíscola and aimed at hotel housekeepers and chambermaids.
A meeting that brought together a large group of attendees and addressed various topics of special interest to hotel housekeepers. Among the experts participated the commercial director of Vayoil Textil Ramon García, together with the teacher Maica Borrás, member of the Spanish Association of Hotel Housekeepers and other entities (ASEGO).
This training included several topics, one of the main ones was Textile Technology. In this section, the attendees gained knowledge about raw materials, characteristics of the different fibers (cotton, polyester) as well as the textile manufacturing process. In addition, they were able to refresh concepts that the governors/governors know from their own experience, such as the equipment for each room: which garments and dimensions are appropriate for each one of them.
The masterclass also included other very important topics when buying lingerie for a hotel, such as: durability, profitability and inventories. The meeting ended with a review of textile trends, including technical fabrics and care for the environment (Ocean line).
