Our company, Vayoil Textil, has an R+D+I department dedicated to researching and developing new textile products with added properties.
This year, it introduced its line of anti-dust mite and anti-allergy products and is currently testing cosmotextiles, i.e. the possibility of incorporating special properties to textiles, whether aromatic (rose, jasmine, lavender fragrance, etc.) or aromatic (rose, jasmine, lavender).fragrance of rose, jasmine, lavender) or skin care (vitamin (A, C, B, E), collagen, Argan oil, odor neutralizer) through micro-encapsulation. through micro-encapsulation.
Vayoil Textil's R&D&I department works in the field of biotechnology for the development of techniques that, when applied to textile processes, give added value to garments. The company, which manufactures textiles for the hotel and catering industry, is aware of the importance of garments that are in direct contact with the skin of guests staying in hotels.
Microencapsulation is the working technique that is giving the best results in textile developments. This technique allows the incorporation of molecules with active ingredients that allow a controlled release of the same, with the friction of the skin, these microcapsules release the active ingredient they contain.
This active ingredient can be from a fragrance of rose, jasmine, lavender to a vitamin (A, C, B, E), collagen, Argan oil, odor neutralizer, and many more possibilities. The use of these special cosmetotextiles products are based on essential oils that when released reinforce the harmony and well-being of the body and mind.
The capsules release the essences gradually, to ensure the maximum effect of their special properties, whether aromatic, skin care (vitamins, antioxidants, argan oil, aloe vera, acid, hyaluronic acid, bodylotion...), providing a sensation of warmth or the opposite (thermoregulators)...
The essential oils are "enclosed" in microcapsules, made of a special polyurethane resin that is very impermeable to dispersion. This mode of encapsulation allows a high binding capacity to the fiber of the fabric.
The company is still working on these products to increase their resistance to industrial laundering. Hospitality garments are subjected to extreme washing conditions that hinder the durability of these properties in textiles. But the company continues to research and develop so that, in a short time, this will be a reality and a possibility to give added value to the rooms and spas of our customers.
